Flame Cutting
From forestry, construction, and power generation to manufacturing and agriculture. When producing iron or steel buildings and industrial goods, flame cutting works well. Parts for industrial applications are manufactured by iDeal steel using flame cutting.
An oxy-fuel gas flame is used in flame cutting to cut through metal. An oxygen jet removes the iron oxide produced by the flame’s heat, cutting the metal.
Particularly for jobs involving thicker metal, flame cutting is more effective than plasma cutting. This lowers production costs and time. Only carbon-containing metals, such as cast iron, carbon steel, and low alloy steels, can be cut with a flame.
